MAVRODAPHNE – 1995-1996
GRAPE/VARIETY: 100% Mavrodaphne
VINEYARD: In the region of Haikali, in the department of Achaia vines are cultivated at an altitude of 150m. The soil structure is sand and clay and the production about 400- 500 Kg per strema.
VINTAGE: Middle September
WINE: Brown red colour, aromas of raisin, chocolate, dried fig, cinnamon on the nose. Round, generous, with a balanced sweetness and a long aftertaste.
Serve at 10°C with desserts based on chocolate, dried fruits and nuts. Also serve as an aperitif or a dessert wine.
With an excellent storage it can be enjoyed for more decades from the vintage.
