GRAPE/VARIETY: 100 % Chardonnay
VINEYARD: In the westward Peloponnese, in the department of Ilias vines are cultivated beside the barrage of Pineios at an altitude of 100m. The soil is sandy and rich in calcium and the production about 1200 Kg per strema.
VINTAGE: Early August with a sugar concentration of 215g/L.
WINE: Pale yellow colour with aromas of pineapple, pear and green apple on the nose. Rich, fruity, round and well balanced with a lasting classy finish in the mouth.
Serve at 12 °C with pastas combined with vegetables or white sauces, yellow cheeses, poultry, salads with mayonnaise, barbecued fish, tropical fruits and desserts based on chantilly.
With an excellent storage it can be enjoyed for two more years from the vintage.
